If you’re like me, most of you love being out in the sun. When I was younger I just couldn’t get enough of it. I still remember and love those summers when we would get the family together, pile into the family van, and head off to the beach for a few days. Baseball games were just as fun and were a big part of our family tradition. I imagine that I am like a lot of men in the activities that I love to do.
The unfortunate thing is that all this time in the sun contributed and continues to contribute to hair loss through-out your life. If you are currently experiencing a lot or hair loss, try and limit the time that you spend in the sun. If you do venture out for activities in the sun, make sure and bring a hat. This will help shield your hair and face from the sun. Hair loss and the sun are very closely related.
Everyone knows how bad the sun can be on our skin, and many of us know someone who has been affected by skin cancer. Most of us, however, have never considered how the sun affects our hair. What happens is that the sun will dry out your hair, which, in turn increases the amount of hair loss. To keep it simple, just wear a hat when you have fun in the sun.
